Venice has always known how to wait. A city built against water, against time, against the slow logic of decay. A civilization that learned to live on the edge of disappearing.
Then something appeared that did not ask permission.
Monoliths of steel emerge in the lagoon. Perfect geometry against organic ruin. They carry the signature of a different kind of intelligence, one that did not evolve here, and does not need to.
Yes, But imagines Venice as the first landscape of a future that has already begun. A threshold, the moment before we know whether what arrived came to save us or to replace us.
The exhibition occupies a building awaiting demolition, a space already on the edge of its last form. Four artists work inside it not to preserve it, but to inhabit its ending.
A collaboration made possible through the precision and craft of Paolo Richichi. Without his hands, the steel would have remained an idea.
